The purchase, sale or rental of real estate is a significant event for individuals and businesses. Tax consequences and local regulations must be considered, contracts must be studied and if necessary, modified and terms of settlement must be carefully examined. Probate and trust planning and administration often involve real estate related transactions. Because of its value, real estate is often the subject of litigation.
