Elder law involves understanding the options available to clients and their loved ones as they age. Throughout my career, I have accepted court appointments as guardian ad litem, permanent and limited guardian, conservator and counsel for persons who are the subject of intervention proceedings. Some of my clients choose to nominate me to be attorney in fact of their powers of attorneys. Thus, when I represent clients as guardians, conservators or attorneys in fact, I have personal knowledge of their duties and responsibilities.
