Estate Planning and Probate and Trust Administration
I have been engaged in estate planning, probate and trust administration for over 35 years. Estate and trust planning includes an understanding of what a client wants to accomplish and then drafting the appropriate documents to accomplish these goals. This can include avoiding probate through proper planning, as well as the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills and advance directives, as well as appropriate tax planning to minimize income, estate and inheritance taxes.
My clients often choose to nominate me to be the personal representative of their estates, trustee of their trusts and attorney in fact of their powers of attorneys. Thus, when I represent clients as personal representatives of estates, trustees of trusts or attorneys in fact pursuant to powers of attorneys, I have personal knowledge of their duties and responsibilities.
